Float Shoe is attached to the end of the casing string and they are used to stop slurry from flowing back. The material inside is easily drillable. The valve consists of rubber and polymer materials with high tensile strength. Single or double valves are available.
- Design is particularly suited to vertical, horizontal and deviational wells.
- All internal parts are PDC drillable.
- Rated up to Category III C, in compliance with API RP 10F standards.
- Floats are a spring-loaded, poppet-type valve or flapper type.
- Floats are available with the single or double poppet valve.
- Designed for HPHT conditions.
